Residential Move Procedure Agreement

Please read, sign, and return this Agreement to the Management Team PRIOR to beginning any move.

I have read the Move and Delivery Policy and Move Procedure Agreement. I understand and agree that if damage is incurred because of my move, I will accept total responsibility for the cost of any damage, repair, cleaning, losses, or other liabilities. I further understand and agree that the association must be notified at least 2 hours in advance of your reservation for cancellations/reschedules. Failure to follow will result in a fee determined by the association. Additionally, if my Move-In/Move-Out exceeds the reserved timeslots, it will also result in a fee for rescheduling the move determined by the association. I also acknowledge that each move-in/out requires a nonrefundable Change of Occupancy fee which covers both Move-In and Move-Out processes.

I understand and agree with all terms as described in the Moving Agreements and Governing Documents.

Move Procedure Agreement

These policies should be reviewed by the Moving Company prior to the move. We will only allow moving companies on the property who will cooperate in keeping the property secure and the property damage-free. If the elevator key or any access keys provided by the Association, Move Coordinator, or Association Manager, is lost by the moving company, the company must have insurance, which will cover all expenses involved with rekeying, including replacement of cylinders as may be necessary.

To make the move go smoothly for you, please make note of the following policies. If you have any questions about these policies, please contact our Move Coordinator Lead, Macy Loy, at helpmemove@cwdgroup.com prior to the move.

  1. Prior to any Move-In, the Moving Company must supply the Association with a current Certificate of General Liability and Workers' Compensation Insurance before the move may start. The certificate(s) must also name the association as an additional insured and be submitted to the Move Coordinator Lead at least two (2) days before a scheduled move.
  2. A representative of the Association may walk with the moving company supervisor from the point of entry to the property, to the elevator and to the Owner's Condominium. During this initial walkthrough, any existing damage may be noted on a checklist noted by the Association's representative.
  3. The elevator key will allow you to hold the elevator at point of entry and on your customers' floor to minimize the time necessary to accomplish the move. No furniture, boxes, etc., are to be left in the Common Elements. In certain buildings or circumstances where there is only one operational elevator, you are not permitted to lock down or reserve the elevator.
  4. Ceilings may not be removed from the elevator.
  5. It is the responsibility of the mover to check the actual dimensions of the elevator cabs prior to loading large items into the elevator to prevent damage to the elevator cab finish.
  6. In the absence of protective coverings for the elevator, all items must be wrapped in moving blankets. No move can begin until these protective coverings are in place.
  7. Under no circumstances may furniture or other belongings be dragged across the hallways or other entry area floors. Dollies or hand trucks must always be in use or stored away. The Association has no obligation to make its own equipment available to the Managing Company.
  8. When the move is completed, the walkthrough inspection may be repeated, and any new damage noted at that time and acknowledged by the Move Coordinator.
  9. Should a moving company disregard any of the above policies, their moving company may not be allowed for future access to the Property.

I have read, understand, and agree to comply with the policies of the association. Without limiting the foregoing, I agree that the company specified below will (a) be required to register with the Move Coordinator and provide certificates of insurance prior to any Move, (b) park in designated area or public parking only, (c) be required to return any keys provided by the Move Coordinator or Homeowner, and (d) be responsible for any damage caused to the Community as a result of the move. I further acknowledge that the Association may (but should have no obligation to) take photographs before and after the move to document the property's condition before and after the move.

This form is to be signed by an authorized employee or owner of the Moving Company, as well as the resident moving, and returned to the Move Coordinator Lead prior to any move-in or move-out.
