Entry — Current Policy

All contractors, vendors, and persons working on the unit must enter and exit via A Deck or B Deck (garage entrances). Prohibited from using the building's main lobby entrance.

Workers enter and exit using only the A-Deck garage doorway. They will not use the building's front entry.

Materials and tools must be transported from A Deck or B Deck levels only, using the West elevator.

Elevator Pads — Required Every Day

Elevator pads are required. The homeowner is responsible for coordinating installation of the pads through the CWD Move Coordinator. The carpet on the elevator floor will be protected by the hardboard insert.

End of Each Workday

Unless repeating days of elevator padding are pre-arranged, at the end of each workday: elevator pads removed, ceiling panels re-installed, carpet cover removed.

Initial Walkthrough

An Association representative may walk with the moving company supervisor from the point of entry, to the elevator, and to the owner's condo. Any existing damage is noted on a checklist.

Elevator Key / Hold

The elevator key allows the mover to hold the elevator at the entry floor and at the owner's floor to minimize move time. No furniture or boxes may be left in Common Elements. Prohibited from locking down or reserving the elevator if only one is operational.

Ceiling Panels

Ceilings may not be removed from the elevator.

Elevator Dimensions

It is the mover's responsibility to check actual dimensions of the elevator cabs before loading large items to prevent damage to the cab finish.

Protective Coverings — Required Before Move Starts

In the absence of protective coverings, all items must be wrapped in moving blankets. No move can begin until protective coverings are in place.

Daily Cleanup — Owner's Responsibility

The owner is responsible for ensuring all common areas are cleaned of debris or damage — including elevators, hallways, and garage decks. Cleanup should be done throughout the day. If not possible, by end of workday. Areas used by vendors must be sanitized daily.
